Purpose:
The purpose of our plant project is to test the growth of plants using two variables. Our idea was to test the growth of plants using a full lemonade solution and a diluted lemonade solution. We are measuring the height of the plants everyday along with watering them each day. Hypothesis:
If we water the plants with a full lemonade solution, then the plants will grow bigger every day. We believe this because of our recordings so far, although they are a bit sketchy because there is occasionally a plant that will be really tall and then there will be a plant next to it we injected with the same solution and it hasn’t grown at all. Materials:
Ruler
Lemonade
Paper
Pen
Plants
Data Chart
Water
Beaker
Paper cup
Light
Computer
Procedure:
In our group we took many measurements and steps throughout the process to ensure that we collected data. On day one we received our materials and planted our seeds. Half were soon watered with a lemonade-water solution and lemonade. We then measured height and number of leaves. We are finding out that lemoade-water solution works better.
The Bee Population
What is happening to the bee population?
The bee population is slowly decreasing.
Why is this occuring?
Nosema Ceranae is the disease that is decreasing the honey bee population.
How is it "BEEING" treated?
They are injecting the bees with a fluid to help the situation.
What can "we" do?
We can stop having such an impact on the environment
